Terror stricks Mumbai again!
Mumbai was again attacked in a cowardly way by a bunch of terrorists. More that 101 persons have been killed which includes top police officials. India has always been a terrorist venerable state with its outdated stratergies in dealing with terrorism. Indian Police are one of the most outdated police force in the world who still use outdated .303 rifles against heavily armed terrorists. Terrorist have attacked CST station, Hotel Taj, Hotel Oberoi and various other places in Mumbai.

Indian Navy takes on Somali Pirates
India in a major show of force destroyed the "Mother Ship" of the somali pirates in the Gulf of Aden. Indian Navy's Frigate INS Tabar destroyed the pirate ship after it thretened to destroy the warship. The pirates have become bold in the last few months and have taken over large Tanker size ships.
Indian Rupee and Markets fall
Indian Rupee hit an all time low of Rs 50.60 to a US$ in early trade today. This is insync with the Indian Stock Markets which also fell. The benchmark BSE Sensex fell by 344 points to close at 8451 points and NSE Nifty fell by 81 points to 2,553 points

Maharastra Goverment to build a Bullet Train
Maharashtra government is planning to build India's first high speed bullet train service by 2012. It has started a feasibility study to start the first service between Mumbai-Pune and Ahemdabad in Gujrat.
